Island Roots:

Born and raised on the island of O‘ahu, Rebecca grew up with a passion for music. Her music journey began with singing in church choir, and teaching herself to play guitar at age 11. Her acoustic and jazzy style resonates with an influence of Norah Jones. As a child, Rebecca's ears were steeped in the classic sounds of Fleetwood Mac, Eva Cassidy's soulful serenades, and the soothing tunes of James Taylor. These influences became the foundation for her own musical tapestry, shaping the artist she is today.

Covering and Creating:

From intimate weddings and farmer's markets to iconic venues like Dukes Waikiki, Stripsteak Waikiki, HoMA Café, The Lounge (Island Sound), and Slack Key Lounge, Rebecca's performances showcase her versatility. She’s not only known for her captivating covers at bars and restaurants but also for her passion for songwriting. With new music on the horizon, Rebecca is poised to share her original work with a growing audience.

Earlier this year, Rebecca was accepted into the Artist On the Rise program with the Henry Kapono Foundation, where she has had the honor of performing alongside Henry Kapono and receiving invaluable mentorship from him and the foundation team. As she continues to carve her niche, Rebecca remains a dedicated performer, songwriter, and artist who started with just a guitar and a dream.
